The express shipping service SWIFT247 on November 8 inaugurated a service centre in the central city of Danang, making the service available in three different regions of north, central, and south Vietnam.
According to SWIFT247 managers, the move is to serve the higher demand of shipping for the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) on January 25, 2020. The weeks leading up to Tet are a peak season for shipping and delivery thanks to the Vietnamese tradition of obtaining new items to welcome the new lunar year.
The managers estimated that shipping demand in the days prior to the biggest Vietnamese national holiday would increase by three to five times over normal days.
Earlier, the express service has been operating successfully with two service centres based in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, offering excellent service to thousands of customers who wanted to have items delivered within a day.
Mobility in town and speed in the sky
SWIFT247 is an express shipment service working on the full utilisation of the broad flight network operated by new-age carrier Vietjet.
Delivery services come in diverse types and styles, however, SWIFT247 boasts second-to-none speed.
A cake baked in Hanoi may arrive to the hands of a connoisseur in Ho Chi Minh City still steaming with SWIFT247. A package of green rice flake could be ready to serve in Ho Chi Minh City after several hours of production in Hanoi – a miracle only SWIFT247 can do.
The partnership linked Vietjet, Grab, and the technology platform SWIFT247 was built up in this August, following a three-side MoU.
Under the partnership, SWIFT247’s technology solution harmonises the air- and roadway transport systems of Vietjet and Grab to offer super-swift delivery.
The mobility of Grab in town and the speed of Vietjet in the air combined can shorten shipping times on the 1,700 kilmetres between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to only five hours.
The advantages that SWIFT247 offers customers include the setting of delivery time and location by customers themselves and receiving a quote immediately, as well as tracking the location of their items.
“I can track my bidding files and can make sure they arrive in time at the bidding venue. These are the advantages why I go with SWIFT247 every time,” said Dang Hung Long, a construction contractor in Hanoi.
Stable service rate during Tet
Thach Anh (48), a trader of cakes, marmalade, fruits, and vegetables produced and grown in Hanoi feels content with SWIFT247, saying the service has helped her business and put to bed her worries about shipping during Tet.
“My items can be delivered to costumers within five hours. The service allows cakes and vegetables to stay fresh, while traditional services take almost two days,” she said.
Do Quyen (69), a Hanoi native who has been living in Ho Chi Minh City for 20 years, said she was totally surprised at a gift from her son. “I told him I missed the aroma of green rice flake in the early morning and in the afternoon I got a package of green rice flake wrapped in a young lotus leaf he sent me using SWIFT247,” Quyen said.
Tran Long, a young customer, said SWIFT247 has saved his relationship as it helped deliver a bundle of daisies, which grow in Hanoi only, to her girlfriend in Ho Chi Minh City in time.
SWIFT247 guarantees stable service costs during Tet occasion. “There will be no increase in the rate of the service. We work 24 hours a week before, during, and after Tet at our centres in Hanoi, Danang, and Ho Chi Minh City to serve the daily demand of our customers,” said a SWIFT247 official.
SWIFT247 is planning to extend their daily express shipment service to other countries in Southeast Asia. Anywhere in the wide world that Vietjet and Grab operate, SWIFT247 will offer its excellent service to delight customers.
