Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, June 29, 2026——The 2026 “Chinese Brands Going Global · Worldwide Tour” (Vietnam Stop), themed “Cross-Border Healthcare and Industrial Synergy”, was held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 29.
Xu Zhou, Deputy Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, delivered opening remarks stating the event serves as an important platform for bilateral collaboration on cross-border medical treatment, telemedicine and health insurance, providing a replicable and scalable model for introducing high-quality Chinese medical resources into Vietnam.
Li Liushen, Deputy General Manager of Global Times Online and representative of the event’s organizer, noted the media platform will continue serving as a bridge, communicating the real needs of overseas markets and helping Chinese enterprises better align with local demand.
Zhang Lin, President of China Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City Branch, pledged to leverage its 500-plus member enterprises to establish a regular platform for healthcare industry cooperation.
Liang Jun, Executive President of Peking University International Hospital, introduced the institution’s internationally advanced expertise in oncology, cardiovascular and neurological disorders, which has provided specialized medical services to patients from more than 80 countries and regions.
Vietnamese industry representatives, including senior officials from Ho Chi Minh City Branch of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Ho Chi Minh City Medical Equipment Association, spoke highly of China’s healthcare technologies and mature hospital management experience, voicing strong expectations for deeper and broader practical cooperation.

Ping An Health’s Chief Actuary Ding Wen introduced its full-cycle integrated healthcare service system and pledged to cooperate with Vietnam to jointly develop inclusive cross-border medical and insurance services.
Peking University International Hospital signed a strategic cooperation agreement with University Medical SHING MARK Hospital to further advance cross-border medical cooperation. The Great Wall International Communication Center (GWICC) also exhibited at the event. Following the event, participating enterprises conducted field visits and business exchanges in Hanoi.

Hosted by Global Times Online(Huanqiu.com), the event is co-organized by Ping An Health Insurance, PKU Healthcare Group and Peking University International Hospital, co-organized by the China Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City Branch, with support from VCCI Ho Chi Minh Branch. Following previous stops in Milan and São Paulo, the Vietnam event further expanded the global footprint of the “Chinese Brands Going Global · Global Tour”.
