The Impact Challenge At SEA – a program to discover, nurture and invest in Impact start-ups sponsored by Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), co-organized by Impact Square, Nexttrans and Merry Year International Korea, is officially launched in Vietnam today.
This year’s program with slogan “See the impact, sail to innovation” would like to award total 100.000 USD prize to potential impact Start-ups that contribute to solving environmental problems or utilizing digital technology.
The total prize 100.000 USD includes 50.000 USD for final winner, 20.000 USD for the second winner,2.500 USD each for the rest of top 10 (8 teams) and 1.000 USD each for additional 10 teams not in the Top 10.
Additionally, selected Impact start-up shall have the opportunity to receive further prize and investment up to 500.000 USD from international investors, join the accelerating/impact measurement program and cooperation opportunity with large organizations.
Any business that related to “green” theme including waste reduction, renewable energy, resources recycling/ circulation, environmental pollution measurement and response, fine dust/ air purification or relating to “digital” theme including mobile app utilization, online transaction/education/platform, 5G, VR/AR, digital healthcare, fintech, smart farm, etc are able to apply the program.
The CEO of the start-ups must be a Vietnamese (nationality) and the main business area (where the business is being conducted or scheduled) should include Vietnam. Selected investee companĩe should establish as Vietnamese corporation before December 2022 and as Singapore corporation immediately before investment.
Application submission timing is from 1st June 2022 to 30th June 2022.
