The past year has once again proved the undeniable impact of the pandemic on the lives of Vietnamese people. As we spend more time inside, the need to improve our living spaces and upgrade home furniture has witnessed considerable growth. During this time, not only do the common spaces like living rooms or bedrooms need an upgrade, but spaces like bathrooms also require significant improvement to help us revitalize our energy.
During the discussion about how to upgrade your everyday” – a lifestyle influencer – Truong An Phuong and Duravit Vietnam Country Manager- Nguyen Huong, walked audience through the two most prominent trends in choosing home furniture.
One is Original Luxury, perfectly suitable for individuals who care about the products quality as well as the relaxation that the appliances create, as this philosophy guarantees goods with great materials and exceptional craftsmanship.
The other trend has taken off during the pandemic, as Vietnamese people have switched to buying goods that are valued for their spending. “Instead of expensive products, I now have the tendency to choose more affordable options, yet still offering versatility and value for money,” Phuong said. “It may be challenging to get the furniture fixed or buy new ones during this time, so I prefer high-quality products at an attractive price to brighten up my home.”
Nguyen Huong added, “This trend also makes us at Duravit understand that Vietnamese people now care a lot about whether their purchases are worth their money. They are not just buying the products because of the brand name, but they want to see the real quality.”
In 2021, Duravit presents to Vietnamese market the affordable luxury D-Neo product line, dedicated to young families. Working with the Belgian designer Bertrand Lejoly, Duravit creates the D-Neo line with universal features and contemporary designs, a testament to Lejoly’s young, fresh and progressive ideas.
