More than 120 Covid-19 infected citizens just returned to Vietnam from Equatorial Guinea
Vietnam just confirmed four more cases of Covid-19 from community in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city and Dak Lak province Wednesday evening, the Health & Life newspaper, a state-run media reported.
Case 447, a 23-years-old man resides in Nam Tu Liem district of Hanoi. He travelled the country’s largest coronavirus hotspot of Da Nang from July 12 to 15th. He was said to have had a high temperature and breathing difficulties for several days after returning to Hanoi and test positive for coronavirus today.
Case 448, a 21-year-old female, resides in Cu Kuin District of Dak Lak province, she worked at Da Nang Hospital from June 22 to July 17 as an intern medical staff. She had a high temperature and breathing difficulties on July 27 and have health check at the Highland General hospital, she test positive for coronavirus today.
Case 449, an American man, 57-years-old, living in Hoa Khanh Bac ward, Lien Chieu district, Da Nang.

They have raised the Covid’s tally caused by community transmission in Vietnam to 34, counted from Saturday, when the first such case was recorded in more than three months.
In the past five days, Da Nang with a population of 1.1 million has reported 26 cases alone. Its neighbor Quang Nam Province has reported three patients and the nearby province of Quang Ngai one case, all linked to Da Nang.
With Wednesday evening additions, the country now has 450 Covid-19 patients, including 81 active cases after 369 have recovered.
129 coronavirus infected citizens in Equatorial Guinea just returned to Vietnam
Yesterday, an unprecedented flight departed from Hanoi to return 219 Vietnamese workers, of whom 129 are Covid-19 positive, from Equatorial Guinea.
The flight landed in Noi Bai International Airport at 09:30am today, July 29th. All have been quarantined and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases upon arrival. This is the highest number of Covid-19 patients the hospital has to treat at once, Tuoi Tre Newspaper reported.
More than 16,000 Vietnamese have been brought home from 50 countries and territories on 60 flights since the country started repatriating citizens stranded abroad on April 10, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
50 more flights would bring another 13,000 people home by the end of next month.

The Vietnam’s Ministry of Health late Tuesday issued an urgent notice to trace people who have visited the venues or places where confirmed COVID-19 patients have been.
They called on anyone who has visited the these locations in Da Nang City and Quảng Nam Province – Vietnam’s latest COVID-19 hotspots – to come forward and seek medical help as soon as possible.
They must also self-quarantine at home, file a health status declaration at https://tokhaiyte.vn or download NCOVI app (the links for download can be found at https://ncovi.vn) and frequently submit information regarding their health.
