Vietnam’s Covid-19 recoveries rose to 660 after 23 patients were declared free of the novel coronavirus Friday afternoon, including a nine-year-old boy.
Twenty of the latest recoveriest were treated at Da Nang’s Hoa Vang District’s medical center and the remaining three at the Da Nang Hospital for Lung Diseases.
Among the 20 recoveries at Hoa Vang is a 76-year-old woman on dialysis.
They had tested negative for the coronavirus between three and five times before being discharged. All of them will continue to be monitored during a 14-day home quarantine as per the Health Ministry regulations.
Of Vietnam’s 1,036 Covid-19 cases so far, 344 are active. Thirty people have died of the disease.
