The first cruise ship to bring tourists by sea to Da Nang after more than 2 years of hiatus due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
On the morning of October 9, the Da Nang Department of Tourism organized a welcome ceremony for the tourist cruise ship Le Laperouse (France) to dock at Tien Sa port.
A 5-star cruise ship brings more than 100 international tourists to Da Nang. They come from countries such as France, the US, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland… During a 1-day stay in Da Nang, visitors will enjoy and take souvenir photos at tourist attractions in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, said that this is the first cruise ship to bring tourists by sea to Da Nang after the interruption due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
“The La Lapérouse train restarting cruise tourism after more than 2 years of hiatus due to the Covid-19 epidemic is a good sign for the city’s tourism recovery,” Mr. Binh shared.

According to the Department of Tourism, in October, La Laperouse will continue to dock at Da Nang port on October 16 and October 29 so that visitors can choose from 3 different sightseeing routes Ngu Hanh Son, Ba Na Hills Hoi An and My Son.
It is known that the superyacht Le Laperouse is more than 130m long, 18m wide, 28m high, manufactured by VARD shipyard in Norway. La Lapérouse is presented as an eco-friendly ship, modernly equipped with an open-plan lounge and 5-star service.

Before arriving in Da Nang, the ship also docked at Saigon port on October 2. During the voyage in Vietnam, this ship takes guests to Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh), Tien Sa (Da Nang), Chan May (Hue), Hon La (Quang Binh) and Ha Long (Quang Ninh).
