The People’s Committee of Dong Nai province has agreed with the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to construct three bridges over the river, connecting the two localities. These are the bridges connecting Thu Duc city with Tam An commune, Long Thanh district; the bridge connecting the southern area of Ho Chi Minh City with Nhon Trach district; and the bridge replacing the Cat Lai ferry.
