“Summer Waves” is the theme of the 2024 beach tourism season kickoff program in Da Nang, featuring a series of sports and cultural activities catering to locals and tourists.
This event is organized annually by the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Beaches at East Sea Park, Son Tra Peninsula, My An Beach, My Khe Beach, T18, Nguyen Tat Thanh, and others. This year’s program runs from April 26th to May 1st, 2024.

The program offers visitors a variety of experiences including artistic kite flying, sand sculpture exhibitions, the “Da Nang Summer Waves 2024” swimming and SUP (stand-up paddleboarding) race, beachside yoga-zumba sessions, paragliding experiences at Son Tra, a tour to observe the “Red-shanked Douc Langur”, and the “International Sea Rescue Da Nang 2024” competition.
Furthermore, My An Beach will host evening activities such as outdoor film screenings, street art, and culinary events.
Especially this year, the program also includes environmental protection activities focused on forests, seas, and beaches, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility among locals and tourists when visiting and enjoying themselves on Son Tra Peninsula and the tourist beaches of Da Nang.
