In June 2021, Vietnam time, Unit 1 of Vietnam Duyen Hai II Thermal Power Project 2x660MW was Officially Put Into Commercial Operation.
This project is located in the power generation industrial park of Economic Development Zone of Tra Vinh province, Vietnam, about 185 kilometers away from Ho Chi Minh City. The scale of construction is 2×660 MW supercritical coal-fired units, supporting docks and ash yards. The synchronous desulfurization and denitration system, smoke and dust, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxide emissions are all superior to the local environment protection standards in Vietnam.
The completion of the project has great significance for easing the power shortage in Tra Vinh Province, Southern Vietnam, and even the whole country, it will provide safe, reliable, and clean energy supply for the economic and social development of Vietnam and inject new vigor and vitality into the industrial and agricultural economic development of South Vietnam.

As a result, “Seven Successes at One Time” have been achieved, namely boiler hydraulic pressure test, energizing of auxiliary power system, steam turbine buckle, boiler ignition, steam rolling, power grid connection, full load trial operation, ensuring the project safety, quality, and progress is better than similar units in Vietnam, striving to build advanced, efficient, environmental-friendly, safe and beautiful Vietnam benchmark power plants.
