The airline has just officially opened the Lotus lounge in the isolated area of the 2nd floor, the international terminal (T2), Danang airport.
This is a business-class lounge with an area of 420m2 and the ability to accommodate up to nearly 100 passengers.
Lotus lounge at Danang International Airport Terminal is the 5th facility in the business network system of Vietnam Airlines, operated directly by Vietnam Airport Ground Services Co., Ltd. (VIAGS) – A member unit of Vietnam Airlines.
Mr. Trinh Ngoc Thanh, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines said: “Along with the system of Lotus lounge system at Noi Bai international airport (Hanoi) and Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City), Lotus lounge in Da Danang has marked the complete and synchronous quality of the ground service according to 4-star standards of Vietnam Airlines in all three regions of North – Central – South, and affirmed VIAGS’s leading service capacity in the region”.
Lotus lounge is luxuriously designed with modern materials and equipment, synchronized with the Lotus lounges at Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat.
In the Lotus lounge, passengers can experience a wide range of comfort services during the waiting period until departure time such as: buffet bar, bar with a variety of food and beverage options; working room with computer system connected to the Internet, printer, scan, fax; other facilities such as toilet, bathroom, massage chair, smoking area, wifi and news update facilities such as radio, newspapers, magazines, …
The introduction of Lotus lounge is one of the activities to complete the comprehensive line of service quality according to 4-star standard from the face to the air of Vietnam Airlines. This is also an important factor for the airline to conquer the goal of becoming the first 5-star international airline in Vietnam after 2020.
