HCM CITY — A children’s film festival is taking place in HCM City under the theme Today’s Little Heroes, Tomorrow’s Global Citizens, showing a selection of engaging and thought-provoking short films from around the world.
Held by the Goethe Institute in HCM City, the festival invites young audiences and families to experience the magic of cinema at the General Science Library of HCM City.
The festival is a collaborative effort, brought to life through the support of dedicated partners such as the PRIX JEUNESSE Foundation, S-Connect Creative Ecosystem, the General Science Library of HCM City, the THD Education Solution Co., Ltd. and the PASCH Initiative.
The highlight of the festival is the Strong Stories for Strong Children series, including short films that follow young protagonists from different countries as they navigate the joys and struggles of childhood.
The films are shown from 10.30am to 11.15am at 69 Lý Tự Trọng Street, Bến Thành Ward, District 1 until August 15, with free admission. — VNS
