HẢI PHÒNG Hundreds of photos and documents highlighting the achievements of the countryl and the northern city of Hải Phòng under the leadership of the Party in the past 94 years are displayed at an exhibition that has opened in Hải Phòng.
The exhibition is divided into two section – Đảng Cộng Sản Việt Nam – Những Mùa Xuân Lịch Sử (Communist Party of Vietnam – Historic Springs) and Hải Phòng Bừng Sáng Miền Di Sản (Hải Phòng Shines With Heritage). It is part of the activities to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Việt Nam and welcome the upcoming Tết (Lunar New Year) Festival.
According to Trịnh Văn Tú, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports in Hải Phòng, the event provides an overview of significant achievements of the nation in the cause of national liberation, construction, and defence of the Fatherland in the 94-year journey under the leadership of the Party.
The exhibition also contributes to introducing and promoting the achievements and victories of Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW issued by the Politburo on January 24, 2019, regarding the construction and development of Hải Phòng City until 2030, with a vision to 2045, as well as the Resolution of the 16th Party Congress of Hải Phòng City for the 2020-2025 term that aims to build Hải Phòng into a highly developed city with international stature and a truly livable place.
The exhibition has attracted many Hải Phòng residents, particularly local students, since its opening on Thursday 1.
“Besides photos about politics and society, I’m particularly interested in those about festivals and sports events taking place in Hải Phòng,” said Đỗ Tuấn Hưng, a student from class 7A3 at Hồng Bàng Secondary School.
“They have provided me with a better understanding of the history of the country that I have learned and read about in books.”
The exhibition is held at the Exhibition and Fine Arts in Hải Phòng City until February 6. After that, it will be reopened from February 9-14.

A similar exhibition to celebrate the establishment of the Communist Party of Việt Nam is also taking place at the Exhibition House on Đinh Tiên Hoàng Street in Hà Nội until February 16. It showcases over 150 photos, documents and propaganda posters. VNS
