To implement the Belt Road 3 project across its territory, Binh Duong province will have to relocate nearly 1,000 households to clear the land, and the compensation rates will also be issued according to the respective regions.
The People’s Committee of Binh Duong province has recently issued decisions approving the land prices for compensating the land to implement the Belt Road 3 project that passes through the province.
Accordingly, it is estimated that nearly 1,000 households in three cities of Binh Duong, including Di An City, Thuan An City, and Thu Dau Mot City, will have to hand over their land for the project.
The total investment of the project is 19,280 billion VND, of which the cost of compensation, support, and resettlement is about 13,528 billion VND, and the project implementation period is from 2022 to 2026.
