HÀ NỘI — Miss Tourism Việt Nam 2022 Lương Kỳ Duyên has begun her mission to promote Vietnamese tourism after she was crowned at the pageant last December.
Duyên, together with 24 Vietnamese social media influencers, including famous travel bloggers, YouTubers, and photographers, is on a journey to discover Hạ Long Bay – one of the world’s seven new wonders of nature.
The tour to the UNESCO-recognised natural heritage is part of the annual “Amazing Tour” which has been organised by Travellive Media Group since 2013.
According to the organisers, the “Amazing Tour” aims to evoke the inspiration and motivation for travel enthusiasts to explore the world.
Travellive Media Group CEO Lê Minh Phượng said: “In every season, participants will join several exciting practical activities to present useful information on destinations and tourism products.”

In Hạ Long, Miss Tourism Việt Nam 2022 Kỳ Duyên and others enjoyed a luxury cruise discovering islets in the bay and visited a pearl farm to learn about how the precious pearls have been nurtured and cultivated.
They also enjoyed a seaplane ride over the bay to contemplate its stunning natural landscape from above.
At a local market they will learn how to make chả mực (calamari cake) – a specialty of Hạ Long and visit the iconic Quảng Ninh Museum, take a hot springs bath in Japanese village Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh, all things that are on the ‘Amazing Tour’ agenda.
After Hạ Long Bay, the tour will continue in Sa Pa, where Miss Tourism Việt Nam and other influencers will stay in a mountain resort hidden in a century-old samu pine forest. They will also visit a salmon farm to learn how the non-native fish have been raised.
The rich culture of local ethnic Mông people will be presented during the visit to ethnic villages Tả Van and Lao Chải.
Travellive Media Group CEO Phượng said that this year is a milestone as the “Amazing Tour” is in 10th anniversary.
She added: “After previous seasons introducing abroad destinations including South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Turkey, this year, we have designed the programme focusing on domestic tourism spots because we want tourists would show their interest in world’s famous tourist destinations in Việt Nam.
“We are sure that this will create a strong motivation for Việt Nam’s post COVID-19 tourism recovery, at the same time to promote further the Vietnamese gastronomy, culture and high-quality tourism services.”

Alongside Miss Tourism Việt Nam 2022 Lương Kỳ Duyên, other members of the ‘Amazing Tour’ include travel bloggers Lý Thành Cơ, Tâm Bùi, Helly Tống, Đinh Minh Toản; celebrity chef Hungazit; Youtubers Hoàng Nam Challenge Me, Ngô Huy Hòa (Hachi8); and photographers Bảo Khánh and Sói Sầu.
The tour will wrap up on March 11.
“After this journey, we will continue to design other tours to promote other destinations in Việt Nam for both international and domestic tourists,” CEO Phượng added. — VNS
