Young travellers in Việt Nam have more and more choices to have a picnic and take photos. Tourism sites with the theme of the typical landscapes in foreign countries have become favourites.
Tanyoli Amusement Park
Following travel lovers, I visited Tanyoli Amusement Park in Sơn Hải Village, Phước Dinh Commune, Ninh Phước District in the central province of Ninh Thuận.

To reach this park, visitors travel on a coastal road, which is as beautiful as one in a painting.
“The first time I came to Tanyoli, I felt as if I were lost in a big desert right in Việt Nam,” said Phạm Ngọc Bình, a tourist from HCM City. “The park was set on immense sand dunes with various games, camping tents, photo-shooting area and an area for activities by the sea.”
The Mongolian tribal spirit can be felt at white tents, which were erected in the middle of a prairie full of sunlight and wind.
“Each tent is surrounded with many hills with trees and plants, creating impressive privacy while you still feel being free in nature,” he said.
There are games like car racing on sand dunes, high wires, ziplines or arrow shooting.
People who love the sea can play beach volleyball or go kayaking.
“Women will like hiring costumes of the Chăm ethnic group to take photos by the tent,” said Nguyễn Minh Hà, who joined a team building group at the site.
The park is open between 7am and 10pm while people who want to stay overnight can rent the tents or wooden houses.

“Making a bonfire at night here is interesting,” Hà said. “We have plenty of time overnight to talk and play. Then waking up in fresh nature is quite inspiring as well.”
Bình said the site features various natural wonders like sand dunes, the beach and the sea, which offer various activities for big groups and families.
“It’s especially suitable to teambuilding activities,” he said. “There is much fun in every form of terrain at the site.”
Mongo Land Dalat
Among many romantic tourism sites, Mongo Land Dalat in Village 1, Tà Nung Commune, far from Đà Lạt centre, is suitable for living like a castaway in nature.
The green valley appears in the middle of hills and mountains of pine forests.
With a big grass field as a highlight, tribal tents are scattered around the site while sheep stroll in a background.

A small lake full of water hyacinth and a small boat are available for visitors to take photos with.
“Instead of visiting popular tourism sites in the centre of the city, I come here with my family to enjoy the green of a fresh prairie,” said Phùng Đăng Phú, a visitor from HCM City.
Though it has been in service for only a few months, Mongo Land Dalat has received many guests.
Phú said his granddaughters like disguising themselves as tribal girls and taking photos with the sheep.
There are also games like grass sliding, bowing and feeding rabbits, goats or sheep.
Lee’s Hillside
Among the Mongolian themed tourism sites, Lee’s Hillside in Cư Êbut Commune, 10km from Buôn Mê Thuột City, has a special attraction.

“It’s quite convenient to reach the site,” commented traveller Vũ Phú Quang from Hà Nội.
Quang said the theme of the site is the Mongolian spirit, which can be found in the white sand field, beautiful white tents, and horses and camels raised at the site.
There are various small corners decorated in the themes of the US West, Morocco or Việt Nam’s Central Highlands.
“What I like here is that within a day I can travel to different areas of the world, where I can take photos with my friends,” said Nguyễn Úy Thương, a local.
“In particular, after ‘baking yourself under the sun taking photos, you can cool yourself down in a pool,” Thương joked. “The pool looks over a lush forest, so it’s quite relaxing swimming here or taking photos.”

The site also offers overnight accommodation at reasonable prices.
Mongolia is a fresh theme for tourism sites. The above-mentioned parks have led the trend among young travelers.
“I think it’s a wise way to attract visitors rather than just establishing pure eco-tourism sites as many existing ones do,” noted Dương Thị Hiền, an official from the Lâm Đồng Culture, Sports and Tourism Department.
“Companies have created new tourism products for localities, which help draw more tourists to the areas.” VNS
