Vietnam on Tuesday evening reported seven new cases of COVID-19 infection, all of which were found in the community, bringing its total confirmed cases to 438, according to its Ministry of Health.
According to the Ministry of Health, of 07 new cases, 04 linked to Da Nang Hospital, 01 case linked to “For You Place Da Nang” Wedding Center.
Following the community case confirmed Saturday, Da Nang placed a 14-day quarantine on Da Nang Hospital, where the patient has visited, starting from Sunday, Vietnam News Agency reported.
The city has announced to temporarily stop receiving tourists in 14 days starting from Sunday and asked its residents to wear masks when going out, keep a safe distance when in contact with others and avoid gathering of more than 30 people, according to the news agency.

It has ordered the suspension of religious ceremonies, sporting events and other events with large amounts of people gathering in public places, as well as temporary closing of non-essential businesses such as entertainment centers, karaoke, beauty salons and spas. Pupils and students of kindergartens, high schools and language training centers in the city have also been required to stay at home from Sunday until further notice.
A total of 365 COVID-19 cases in Vietnam have totally recovered from the disease with no deaths reported as of today, while there are nearly 11,200 people being quarantined and monitored in the country, according to the health ministry.
