Twelve new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Vietnam on Tuesday morning. Binging the total number of cases nationwide to 396, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control reports.
According to the latest report, all new patients arrived into the country on a repatriation flight from Russia on July 17.
The latest batch of patients landed at Van Don Airport in Quang Ninh Province on flight number VN5062. Every passenger on the plane was immediately taken into quarantine.
Here is the list of new cases are:
- A 51-year-old woman from Hà Nam Province.
- A 53-year-old man from Hà Nam Province.
- A 25-year-old man from Nam Định Province.
- A 24-year-old man from Nghệ An Province.
- A 34-year-old man from Thanh Hóa Province.
- A 41-year-old man from Khánh Hòa Province.
- A 24-year-old man from Hải Phòng City.
- A 24-year-old woman from Thái Bình Province.
- A 26-year-old man from Thái Bình Province.
- A 25-year-old man from Nam Định Province.
- A 26-year-old man from Hà Nội’s Ứng Hòa District.
- A 38-year-old man from Khánh Hóa Province.
Some are being treated at General Hospital of Nam Dinh Province and the others at a clinic in Ninh Bình Province’s Hoa Lư District. Vietnam News Agency reported.
Vietnam has not seen any new cases in the community for 96 days.
Just over 11,000 people are currently quarantined at hospitals, health centres and at home.
