Sometimes longtime fishermen can not predict correctly when this trans-sea route will appear, it all depends on nature.
As a new and adventurous form of tourism, the sea route has been sought by tourists all over the world in recent years.
The road through the sea is the protruding rocks, sand dunes, and enamel lines connecting two islands or the mainland with the island, but both sides are immense sea.
In Vietnam, there are about 4 sea routes known and exploited for tourism. The most hidden road across the sea is located on Hon Kho island (Quy Nhon) because it only appears at certain times of the day, the rest will be hidden under the water.
The road through Hon Kho sea is about 500m long, connecting two mountain ranges. Hon Kho is located in Hai Dong village, Nhon Hai commune, 16km from the center of Quy Nhon city. The most common time to see the Hon Kho cross-sea road is from March to September, however, the exact time needs to be asked by local people, because the time when the road appears is not fixed, depends on the water level.
Depending on the season, the tides in Hon Kho move differently, when the water receds, the sand and rock rapids slowly emerge from the sea surface, forming a short road connecting the two mountains, wide enough for a group of 5 people to go through a time. The water rises not suddenly but slowly, so visitors can observe the rise and fall of the road, align the travel time.
In addition to the road through the sea, visitors to Hon Kho can participate in coral diving, check-in cliffs, wooden bridges close to the cliffs and sea, play motorbikes – surf boats, enjoy seafood…
