HCM CITY — Vietnamese-American pop star Thanh Hà has launched a new music project in HCM City celebrating her 30-year career.
The project, My Song-My Stories, will offer a series of music videos (MV) featuring songs by Vietnamese composers, such as Hoài Sa, Đức Trí, Dũng Dalat, Vĩnh Tâm and Anh Khoa, who were famous in the 1990s-2000s.
The first MV, called Giọt Lệ Cho Ngàn Sau (Forever Tears), featuring a pop song about love and women by Từ Công Phụng and Hoài Sa, was released last week.
“Music connects people together. I hope my music will meet young fans’ taste,” said 54-year-old Hà, who lives in HCM City to develop her career, in her interview with local media. “I love singing for my fans in my homeland.”
