In the first 9 months of 2022, the transportation market recorded strong growth in all fields, especially passenger transport. Logistics services have developed in both quality and scale.
The transport market has impressive parameters reflecting the socio-economic return to normal activities, having good resilience after basically controlling the epidemic. In addition, the high growth rate in many areas of logistics was partly achieved by the low reference base of the last 9 months of last year, due to the social distancing that occurred in many localities and nationwide.
Specifically, in the first 9 months of 2022, the total volume of cargo transport through the seaport was estimated at 557,525 million tons, up 5% over the same period in 2021. In September, it was 62 million tons, up 5% over the same period last year.
In the aviation sector, the volume of cargo through the airport in 9 months is estimated at 1 million tons, down 3.1% over the same period in 2021. The number of passengers passing through the airport in 9 months is estimated at 75 million passengers. , up 162.4% over the same period in 2021.
For waterway transport, goods transported in 9 months was estimated at 292.5 million tons, an increase of 12.5% over the same period in 2021, freight turnover was estimated at 63.9 billion tons.km, an increase of 12. 5%.
Passenger transport volume in 9 months is estimated at 201.7 million passengers, up 12.5% over the same period in 2021, passenger turnover in 9 months is estimated at 3.15 billion passengers.km, an increase of 12.5 %.
Similarly, rail freight also recorded good results, estimated at 4.3 million tons in 9 months, up 4.5% over the same period in 2021, freight turnover was estimated at 3.4 billion tons.km, up 22.4% over the same period.
Passenger transportation in 9 months was estimated at 3.4 million passengers, up 176% over the same period. Passenger turnover is estimated at 1.3 billion passengers.km, up 162.5% over the same period.
