Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2022 will take place from May 14 to May 17 at Le Van Tam Park, District 1. This is an annual event of the city’s tourism industry taking place in the context of the whole country jubilantly organizing the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31); is an event associated with the message “Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City”.
Le Truong Hien Hoa, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, said that the event aims to restore and create a new atmosphere for tourism throughout the country and is also a transformational step to adapt after the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic; improve the quality of tourism services and promote the destination image of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam.
Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2022 also stimulates domestic tourism in the summer of 2022 when businesses have the opportunity to promote and introduce tourism stimulus programs in the area. Localities and businesses approach and introduce tourism products and services to visitors, especially the city market; contribute to promoting tourism development linkages with regions in the coming time.
This year, the event attracted the participation of more than 100 units including more than 50 provinces and cities; 38 tourism service businesses; 11 restaurants and airlines… At each booth, units and businesses will design and display their own products and services, advantages, and tourism potential; organize customer meetings, self-introduction, offer new and attractive tourism products and services through activities, prize-winning games, tour programs with preferential prices, etc.
In order to stimulate tourism demand in Ho Chi Minh City, many attractions, museums, amusement parks, and travel agencies in the city have also implemented a series of discount and promotional programs. Such as Dam Sen Cultural Park with free entrance ticket or 50% of package tickets; Suoi Tien tourist area offers free admission tickets for children under 1m4 when accompanied by adults, free entrance tickets for frontline forces against the epidemic, 50% discount on combos for children and adults, discount on group tours, etc.
Cu Chi Tunnels 10% discount on admission tickets and entertainment services for groups from 10 people; The Sac Forest War Zone offers a 10% discount on tour tickets for groups from 10 people; The Museum of Ho Chi Minh City reduces the ticket price by 20% for groups from 20 people; The Ao Dai Museum reduces ticket prices and reduces the fee for renting Ao Dai for group guests.
