The tickets for the Formula One’s Hanoi leg are now officially on sale by Vietnam Grand Prix LLC, a subsidiary of Vingroup.
Vietnam Grand Prix LLC has officially began selling 5,565 tickets for Hanoi Formula One (F1).
Three ticket types will be available for F1 in Hanoi, including Hospitality, Grandstand, and Walkaround tickets. The tickets are valid for three racing days, allowing the buyer to attend the practice rounds, the qualifying rounds, and the race itself.
The cheapest is the Walkaround Ticket at $75 (VND1.7 million), while the Grandstand Ticket goes for $390 (VND8.97 million).
The F1 is regarded as the world third biggest sporting event after the World Cup and the Olympics, as well as the most expensive sporting event.
Buyers are allowed to buy day tickets for any day of the event or two- or three-day tickets, covering every day.
The 2019 F1 season was kicked off at the Australian GP on March 14-17 and will end at Abu Dhabi GP on November 29-December 1.
In the 2018 season, which included 21 races, the average fare was around $417 (VND9.6 million). China ($160 – VND3.7 million) and Russia ($241-VND5.6 million) sold the cheapest tickets, while the most expensive were Abu Dhabi ($632 – VND14.5 million) and Monaco ($850 – VND19.5 million).
Previously, on April 20, the “F1 Vietnam Grand Prix Launch” event took place at the My Dinh National Stadium in co-operation with the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Grand Prix Company (VGPC), and Heineken Vietnam.
The event showcased a speed display of F1 racing cars, driven by legendary F1 driver David Coulthard, the F1 ambassador of the Heineken brand, and the Aston Martin Red Bull Team.
Thousands of spectators immersed themselves in the lively atmosphere of the F1 speed party. This is also the official venue for next year’s Vietnam Grand Prix.
