Things that few people know about the most expensive golf course in Vietnam

Golf is a sport only for the rich because the investment cost to experience is not small. In 2021, the average income of Vietnamese workers is 5.7 million VND/month, it is clear that golf is not for everyone.

In the “golf village” there is also a strong disparity in costs. Currently, the North has more than 20 major golf courses (excluding mini-courses and training courses), of which Van Tri has the highest input cost in Vietnam. The price ranges from 3-9 billion VND depending on the target group.

Van Tri golf course (Dong Anh, Hanoi) was designed by famous architect Peter Rousseau, put into operation in 2007 and is considered as the top class golf course in Vietnam. The total length of the golf course is now 7200 yards from the champion-tee. If counted from the green tee, the length is 6700 yards.

The 18 holes of golf are delicately designed, spread evenly across the course and in different terrain types. Along with that, the architect has also meticulously calculated the golf holes to help the shots achieve the best effect.

Van Tri is also the first golf course in Vietnam that is exclusively members-only, meaning players receive a lot of privacy. Worthy of this reputation, Van Tri Golf Club has its own way of charging.

According to the price list published in 2021 on the website Vantrigolf.com.vn , the individual membership card fee is VND 3,075,600,000. Company registration fee for 1 person, 2 people, 3 people respectively is 3,690,720,000 VND, 6,643,296,000 VND, 9,964,944,000 VND respectively. This fee is valid for 25-30 years.

In addition, members have to pay an annual fee of about 52 million VND. This price includes all taxes, members will not be subject to any other taxes.

In the membership terms of the golf course, it is also clearly stated that members will be able to use the lawn for free, but still have to pay caddy fees and other service fees (if used). Caddy fee for 18 holes costs 700,000 VND/person. The electric vehicle fee ranges from 520,000-820,000 VND/person.

When you own a membership card, you can guarantee your loved one with the price for guests about 3,300,000 to 4,300,000 VND depending on weekdays or holidays.

In addition to Van Tri, some other golf courses with the most expensive input costs in the North can be mentioned such as Chi Linh Star Golf & Country Club, the joining fee ranges from 2-6 billion VND/25 years or Dai Lai Star Golf & Country Club; FLC Samson Golf Links; Golf Yen Dung Resort & Golf Club. 

Compared with the fees of other golf courses, it can be seen that the guests playing at Van Tri Golf are considered to be qualified people, belonging to the upper class.
