HÀ NỘI — The Taiwan Excellence Symphony Concert was a success on the night of May 27 at the Hà Nội Opera House, with an enthusiastic response from the audience. Diverse musical colours and deep cultural values are what symphony music lovers appreciated about the event.
“The performance was impressive, with beautiful symphonic music under the baton of talented conductor Honna Tetsuji,” noted audience member Huy Linh, a singer from the Hà Nội College of Arts.
“Various styles of music were performed including many favourite international works and Vietnamese folk songs.”

Guest star and pianist Liao Hsin-Chiao showcased her graceful way of performing, taking the audience on an adventure with Piano Concerto in C minor by composer Tyzen Hsiao, he said.
Simultaneously, the concert was also televised live on the LED screen at Hòan Kiếm Lake Walking Street, attracting a large number of spectators.
Audiences at the walking street can also visit the Chinese Taipei excellence “Pavilion Exhibition” taking place in front of the Hà Nội Post Office Building (75 Đinh Tiên Hoàng Street by Hoàn Kiếm Lake).
The counters feature new generation culinary, cultural and technological entertainment products.
