HCM CITY — See Sing Share produced by singer Hà Anh Tuấn, which won Show of the Year and Music Series of the Year at the Cống Hiến (Devotion) Music Awards in 2019, has returned for season 4 on YouTube.
The show was first broadcast on YouTube in October 2016 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Tuấn’s career. It features videos introducing popular Vietnamese songs in an acoustic style.
Season 4 with the theme Trong Rừng Có Cơn Mát Lành (A Breath of Forest Fresh Air) began on September 14.
The 36-year-old said that he “always wanted to launch a new music story when I feel depression in my soul. This time, I began my story in a green forest”.
“The forest has a very strong vitality, even when people have bad behaviour. The forest is like a lover who always forgives and welcomes us when we return after we are lost.”
In the season’s opening video, Tuấn sings Khúc Hát Chim Trời (Birds’ Song) by Trần Thanh Sơn with a band composed of guitar, flute, accordion and hang drum players against the background of a forest.
His video has earned more than 581,000 views.
A YouTube viewer named Nam Lee said: “I love the project with trees, forests, animals, nature and music. It’s not only a music project, but also a motivation for us to live better.”
Trong Rừng Có Cơn Mát Lành is one of three music projects by Tuấn in 2020. His other projects Cuối Ngày Người Đàn Ông Một Mình (A Lonely Man at the End of a Day) and The Veston are still “secret”.
Tuấn, a graduate of Technische Universitat Darmstadt in Hessen, Germany, rose to fame in the Sao Mai – Rendezvous TV singing contest in 2006.
He has released seven albums, including Acous’84, a production of nine songs in R&B which helped the singer bring home the Golden Album of the Year presented by HCM City Television in 2010.
He is working as a music producer for See Sing Share, which has had three seasons over the last five years, with a total of 30 music videos.
In the show, Tuấn sang his signature ballad and R&B songs which have been hits among Vietnamese youth for a decade or so, including Buổi Sáng Ở Ciao Cà Phê (Morning at Ciao Cafeteria) and Espresso by Võ Thiện Thanh.
He also presented favourite songs by other singers such as Người Tình Mùa Đông (Winter Lover) and Nơi Ấy Bình Yên (Peaceful Place).
His videos have attracted hundreds of millions of views.
Thanks to See Sing Share, Tuấn has become a favourite Vietnamese singer on YouTube, with more than 643,000 subscribers. — VNS
