Two foreign tourists were killed in a road accident Hoi An of Vietnam, the accident is being investigated.
Denver Christopher Marcus, 25, and Thompson Pethmay, 24, who are British tourists died in Vietnam’s central city of Hoi An at 4 a.m on Monday after driving their motorbike into a sidewalk and hitting an electric pole, there were few people on the street by that time
The two were traveling on one motorbike when the accident happened. The accident occurred in front of a residential house at No.208 Hung Vuong Street, Thanh Ha District, and they died on the spot, local police have confirmed.
The victims have been identified UK nationals, who were staying at a local hotel on Cua Dai Street, the police told reporter.
Whether the two were driving under influence would need forensic appraisal, but this procedure would require the input from the UK embassy.

The case has been transferred to the province-level police to carry out further investigations, according to the city’s police chief.
Quang Nam Province’s Department of Foreign Affairs were contacting the UK embassy for related issues, he noted.
The bodies of the two victims are being kept at Quang Nam Province General Hospital.
