The Vietnam Road Administration has recently reported to the Ministry of Transport regarding the provision of non-stop electronic toll collection services for airports and related expansion plans for non-stop electronic toll collection services.
According to the Vietnam Road Administration, currently, airport toll booths across the country, especially at Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat airports, still collect tolls manually. Drivers are required to stop their vehicles at toll booths to pay in cash, leading to frequent congestion in these toll areas, causing frustration for both drivers and passengers.
Congestion at the toll station area will affect many roads around the airport
