Nguyễn Trọng Vĩnh, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phú Xuyên District, highlighted the significance of this year’s event, emphasising the coordinated efforts of multiple sectors and the city in organising the festival. Their aim is to showcase and promote the agricultural and small-scale industrial handicraft products not only from Phú Xuyên and Hà Nội but also from various other regions.
Additionally, the district is taking advantage of this opportunity to introduce Phú Yên’s new traditional craft village tourism destination and to launch an e-commerce trading platform designed to boost the visibility and sales of agricultural and small-scale industrial handicraft products originating from the district.

“This year’s festival encompasses a variety of activities, notably the promotion and introduction of traditional craft village products and OCOP products from Phú Xuyên. We are organising demonstrations showcasing the expertise of traditional craftsmen in the district, presenting non-material cultural heritage performances, traditional folk games, conducting auctions of outstanding and unique products, and introducing tourists to various tourist destinations and traditional craft villages in Phú Xuyên.”
The programme provides an opportunity for businesses to promote their brands and showcase their products, especially eco-tourism agriculture models to visitors and consumers.
Phạm Thị Linh, representing Phạm Văn Vinh’s fine woodwork production facility, said: “Our facility specialises in producing clocks. We manufacture various types of clocks, from wall clocks to grandfather clocks.”
“Currently, our products are sold wholesale online within the country. Participating in the fair helps us promote our products and reach a broader consumer base. I hope to promote our products more and expand into exporting them abroad.”

Đỗ Thị Nhỡ is constantly busy at her stall, neatly organising traditional candies and warmly welcoming customers. She explained, “I’m here at the fair with my family’s time-honoured candy products. I’ve been making and selling these traditional sweets alongside my mother since I was just 12 years old.”
“Now, I’m passing down this cherished tradition to my children and grandchildren, spanning three generations. Our products are highly favoured by customers, and our booth is always bustling with visitors.”
Featuring captivating designs set in picturesque rural landscapes, the fair has become a magnet for visitors. Vũ Mạnh Dũng, a visitor, said, “This year’s fair is truly remarkable, showcasing many traditional products from the Phú Xuyên District, especially the intricately woven straw products, woven paintings, embroidered art, custom-made clothing, footwear and more. It’s an opportunity for the entire country to discover the district’s traditional craft villages and for the locals to introduce their finest craftsmanship to visitors.” VNS
