PepsiCo Foods Vietnam was named among the Top 10 “Vietnam Best Places to Work” and Responsive Human Capital Company at Vietnam HR Awards 2020.
PepsiCo Foods was named one of the Top 10 Vietnam Best Places to Work (when compared in all industries). Methodology and ranking results are developed by Anphabe, the prestigious career network for management professionals with consultation from Intage, a market research company on 20/10/2020.
Furthermore, on 25/22/2020, PepsiCo Foods Vietnam continuously won the Top 10 Excellent Companies with Responsive Human Capital Initiative prize at Vietnam HR Awards 2020. This pioneering award ceremony is organized by the Newspaper of Labor and Social Affairs in collaboration with Talentnet. This year’s theme is “Win the Unplanned” – awarding outstanding human resource strategies in coping with adversities brought about by Covid-19.
At Vietnam HR Awards 2020, Ms. Nguyen Ha Trang – HR Director of PepsiCo Foods Vietnam, had shared the story of winning frontline staff’ heart that “Our employees were always motivated to overcome psychological barriers imposed by social distancing. In case of quarantine, the company guarantees the income of each individual. Moreover, employees can remain connected through our multi-dimensional communication channels.”
Unexpectedly, 2020 witnesses a huge uncertainty outspread globally, especially in business world, due to Coronavirus’ pandemic. With the motto “employees’ health & safety is the first and foremost priority”, PepsiCo Foods Vietnam adapted workplace, schedule, and time requirements to create breathing room for employees. The safety of its workers is a top priority for the company, including that of more than 2,400 contracted potato-producing farmers.
The “Trieu Bua Com” (Millions of Meals) campaign by PepsiCo Foods Vietnam in collaboration with Suntory PepsiCo and Vietnam Youth Federation has delivered 600.000 meals to people with special needs during the social distancing period. The company also spent VND 4.7 billion to provide ventilators, echocardiography machines, and other medical equipment to six hospitals across the country. PepsiCo Foods Vietnam received 2020 AmCham CSR Recognition Award presented by the American Chambers of Commerce in Hanoi for their efforts to help address society’s needs during the Covid-19 pandemic.
