At the beginning of the holiday season 30/4-1/5 this year, the gateway to Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City has witnessed a traffic jam that lasts for kilometers, making many drivers extremely tired.
In order to make the journey back to the city convenient and avoid falling into traffic jams, the Traffic Police Department recommends and offers traffic separation options in Ho Chi Minh City.
Accordingly, some situations of traffic jams and measures to solve traffic accidents at the gateways to and from Ho Chi Minh City are as follows:
Scenario 1 – National Highway 13 in the Central Highlands to and from the gateway of Ho Chi Minh City. In Ho Chi Minh City, the means of transport cannot be circulated, the traffic is divided as follows:
Vehicles from the Central Highlands provinces (Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong) to the Western provinces (Long An, Tien Giang, ..) go on the National Highway 13 → turn left DT741 (at the intersection of So Sao) → My Phuoc , Tan Van → Pham Ngoc Thach → Huynh Van Cu (or from QL13 → turn right on Nguyen Van Long street → turn right on Huynh Van Cu street) → Phu Cuong bridge → turn left into Ha Duy Phien → turn right on Vo Van Bich → turn left onto Do Van Day → Ba Trieu → turn left onto Xuyen A Street – turn right onto National Highway 1 → Binh Tri Dong → Tan Tao → Cho Dem → Ho Chi Minh City → Trung Luong → Ap Bac (My Tho City) ) or on QL50 and vice versa.
Scenario 2 – The northern route of National Highway 1 exits and enters the gateway to the city. In Ho Chi Minh City, vehicles that cannot circulate will divide the flow as follows:
The means of transport from the northern provinces (Binh Thuan, Dong Nai) to the western provinces (Long An, Tien Giang,…): + To Bien Hoa, take the National Highway 1 → 30/4 park → Nguyen Ai street Quoc → Hoa An Bridge → cross the bridge, turn right onto Bui Huu Nghia street (former Provincial Road DT16) → DT 747A → Tan Ba intersection turn into DT747B → Mieu Ong Cu intersection → DT 743A → Sao Quy intersection → Binh Boulevard Duong → intersection in Phuoc Kien → turn left onto Huynh Van Cu street → Phu Cuong bridge → turn left into Ha Duy Phien → turn right on Vo Van Bich → Cau Xang → District road 65B → Thanh Nien → Provincial road DT824 → Provincial road DT9 → to Duc Hoa bridge → N2 road (in Long Thanh) → to Long An and vice versa.

Arriving in Long Khanh town, guide to Ho Chi Minh City highway. Ho Chi Minh – Long Thanh – Dau Giay → enter the city. Ho Chi Minh.
At the junction of National Highway 1A and Vo Nguyen Giap Street, follow Vo Nguyen Giap Street → roundabout gate 11 → turn left onto National Highway 51 → TP highway. Ho Chi Minh – Long Thanh – Dau Giay → City. Ho Chi Minh.
At Tri An junction, turn right onto DT 767 → Co Cay Xoai → enter DT 768 → Thu Bien bridge DT 746 (Bac Tan Uyen district) → Binh Duong (follow the routes of Thu Dau Mot city) → Ho Chi Minh.
Scenario 3: City Expressway. Ho Chi Minh – Trung Luong enters the city. In Ho Chi Minh City, vehicles that cannot circulate will divide the flow as follows:
Vehicles from the Western provinces (Long An, Tien Giang, ….) to the provinces of the Central Highlands (Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Dak Nong, …) from Ho Chi Minh City. My Tho follows the route QL60 → Trung Luong intersection roundabout → QL1 → DT866 → QL62 → NHN2 → turn right DT823 → DT8 → to TP. Thu Dau Mot and vice versa.
Scenario 4: City Expressway. Ho Chi Minh – Long Thanh – Dau Giay into the city. In Ho Chi Minh City, non-traffic vehicles are classified as follows:
City Expressway. Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh has a traffic jam: Vehicles from Binh Thuan and Dong Nai provinces go to the city. From Ho Chi Minh City, go to Long Thanh intersection → turn right onto QL51 → go to Vung Tau intersection, turn left onto NH1A → Dong Nai bridge → TP. From Ho Chi Minh City or from National Highway 51 → Nhon Trach junction → turn right onto road 25B → Cat Lai ferry → TP. Ho Chi Minh and vice versa.
Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway has traffic congestion on National Highway 51 in the direction from Ba Ria – Vung Tau to the expressway, as follows: At Km 63: At the central roundabout of Ba Ria, turn right along the road. Nguyen Huu Tho → Hung Vuong → Hoa Long roundabout turn left → QL56 → Dong Nai
At Km 62: Follow Nguyen Huu Canh street, turn left → Le Trong Tan turn right → Van Tien Dung turn left → 3/2 street turn right → Mo Xoai street → Hoa Long roundabout, turn left → QL56 → Dong Nai.
At Km 54: Follow the intersection of Hoi Bai – Chau Pha → Road No. 1 → Duc My Roundabout, turn left → QL56 → Dong Nai.
At Km 44+300: Follow road 8 → Toc Tien intersection turn left → Hac Dich roundabout turn right → My Xuan – Hoa Binh street → Ngai roundabout Turn left → QL56 → Dong Nai.
At Km 37: Follow Phuoc Binh street, turn right → Hac Dich roundabout, turn left → My Xuan – Ngai Giao street → Ngai Giao roundabout, turn left → QL56 → Dong Nai.5.
Scenario 5: National Highway 22 in and out of the city gate. In Ho Chi Minh City, the means of transport cannot be circulated, the traffic is divided as follows:
Vehicles from Tay Ninh to Ho Chi Minh City Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa: Trang Bang Town (Tay Ninh) → DT822 → National Highway N2 turn left → DT823 → Trans-Asia Road – Cu Chi Overpass – TP. Ho Chi Minh and vice versa.
