Capella Hanoi Hotel was introduced by the New York Times (USA) in the list of 10 outstanding new hotels in Asia.
Proposing 10 outstanding new hotels in Asia, the New York Times article said this is a “modest” list of hundreds of new resorts opening during the Covid-19 outbreak.
For this list, author Stephanie Rosenbloom selected hotels in each country and in different segments. Each place has its own qualities, such as architecture, prime location, creative space or luxury… “Whether you’re considering a visit to the pine forest in Bhutan or the bustling capital of Vietnam Nam, let these hotels be the departure point for the imagination,” the author wrote.

Besides resorts in Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Korea and Thailand, the new prominent hotel in Vietnam selected to this list is Capella Hanoi. Author Stephanie Rosenbloom describes it: “Located on a leafy boulevard in the capital city, not far from the Hanoi Opera House and the Old Quarter, Capella Hanoi has a design that evokes glamour and reinterprets society in the operas of ‘Roaring Twenties’ period of the 1920s”.
All 47 rooms at Capella Hanoi have sophisticated designs, with emphasis on hand-crafted sculptures named after world-famous actors, singers, and screenwriters in opera such as French singer Sarah Bernhardt or Italian artist Eleonora Duse… to remind of a glorious period of this art form.
