Mai Linh Corporation announced on Monday it has named Rahn Wood, an Australian as its new CEO as the company seeks to transform its business operations.
Rahn Wood is an internationally experienced executive with over 30 years of achievements in Retail & Digital Banking, Cards, Investment Banking and Payments. He has performed executive roles at some of the most prestigious financial institutions including HSBC (Australia, Hong Kong & Singapore), Vietnam International Bank, Techcombank, Saudi British Bank, Macquarie Bank, MasterCard and ANZ Bank.

Throughout his career, he has authored, and in many cases implemented, a large range of strategic change programs and startups.
Founded in 1993, Mai Linh Group is the most popular taxi brand in Vietnam with cabs in all 63 provinces, 4 major islands including most tourism destinations. In addition to their longstanding reputation for the safety and quality of their services they also offer a diverse range of transportation-related propositions such as travel, vehicle repairs and maintenance.
In 2018, Mai Linh merged legal entities in three regions of the country into one Mai Linh Corporation, which has helped the company improved its business capacity to face the emerging competition and challenges.
Profit before tax of the company in 2019 reached VND129 billion. In 2020, Mai Linh targets to double its profit and increase charter capital for technology investments, better customer experience, improved efficiency as it begins it’s strategic Transformation program.
