HÀ NỘI — The national carrier Vietnam Airlines’ in-flight Heritage magazine has launched the 10th season of its annual photo contest Journey of Heritages, inviting photographers of all nationalities to submit their works.
Applicants can send a collection of eight to 12 photos, black-and white or colour, under one of following categories: Culture – Heritage, Landscape – Tourist Destination, Lifestyle – Human Portrait – Vietnam Airlines Moment, or Special Shooting Technique: drone, macro or underwater.

Each photographer can submit a maximum of 10 collections for all competition categories combined. Each collection can only be submitted for one category.
Entries must be taken within the past three years (from 2021), not violate copyright laws, and must be in accordance with the Press Law and Vietnamese cultural norms. All the entries must be sent directly to the contest’s website https://giaianh.heritagevietnamairlines.com by July 31.
A total of 14 prizes will be given to the best photo collections and best cover photos.
Especially, to mark its 10-year journey, the photo contest has a significant change – the awards will be officially endorsed and regionally scored by the Việt Nam Association of Artistic Photographers, following the regulations set forth.

The association will also grant a Gold Medal for best entry of the Culture – Heritage Category, a Silver Medal for the best of the Landscape – Tourist Destination Category, and a Bronze Medal for the best of the Lifestyle – Human Portrait – Vietnam Airlines Moment Category.
According to the organiser, the contest serves as a channel of external communication to promote the image of the country and the people of Việt Nam. It also contributes to the professional development and enhancement of quality in the field of photojournalism.
