HÀ NỘI Japanese movies will be introduced to audiences during the 12th Japanese Film Festival (JFF) in Việt Nam from December 25 this year until January 22, 2021.
A lineup of 14 movies of different genres such as comedy, family, crime, anime, documentary, musical and sci-fi will be presented.
Organised by the Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange in Việt Nam, the JFF will take place offline in cinemas and via online screenings.
In Hà Nội, the in-person screenings will be held from December 25-31 at the National Cinema Centre, 87 Láng Hạ Street. Tickets priced VNĐ30,000 (students and children) and VNĐ40,000 (adult) are on sale at the venue from December 19.
The website for online screenings watch.jff.jpf.go.jp will open in Việt Nam from January 13-22, 2021. The site has a wide variety of movies, genres with flexible screening schedule and no limit of viewers, thus, people can watch ‘Japanese Films Anytime, Anywhere’ which is also the event’s slogan. VNS
