The People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province is coordinating with the People’s Committee of Da Nang City to discuss collaboration in managing, preserving, and promoting the value of the Hai Van Gate relic.
According to a report by Hoang Viet Trung, Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the Hai Van Gate relic has garnered significant attention from the public, gaining widespread coverage in the media and on social networks. The number of visitors has steadily increased, with 78,306 visitors recorded from August 1 to September 9, 2024. At times, the site faces overcrowding, leading to issues such as parking, public order, environmental sanitation, fire prevention, and the regulation of vendors. Hence, a close collaboration between Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang City is necessary to find effective management solutions.
