Hanoi’s downtown district of Hoan Kiem on May 20 launched its tourism website, aiming to promote its tourism potential and attract more tourists to the area.
The website, available at http://hoankiem360.vn and http://hoankiem360.com, has many features, including finding tourist destinations, services and trade centres of Hoan Kiem district.
Visitors can explore famous places of the district through 360-degree panoramic images, and book hotel rooms and tours as well as buying goods online.
A mobile app for iOS, Android, Windows phones also allows users to explore landscapes, historical sites, scenic spots and other tourism and trade services.
Hoan Kiem Chairman Duong Duc Tuan said that website is expected to facilitate the district’s tourism with a close connection with Vietnam tourism, aiming to build a smart urban and tourism management model.
At the ceremony, the district also introduced an upgrade of the its portal, along with the websites of wards and schools based in the district.
Hoan Kiem is home to many of Hanoi’s attractions such as the Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter, the night market, and the pedestrian streets.
