A series of VF 3 cars with basic exterior colors are ready to be delivered to customers.
On August 1st, VinFast delivered the first batch of VF 3 cars in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. As early as the morning, a lineup of mini electric cars was seen queuing in front of the event entrance.
The VinFast VF 3 has been likened to a “storm” sweeping through the Vietnamese market in the second quarter, quickly drawing the attention of users. According to the manufacturer, the VF 3 measures 3,190 x 1,679 x 1,622 mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of about 2,075 mm.
With its “trendy” boxy design and significantly increased width, the VF 3 feels more substantial compared to rivals in the same segment or even compared to other budget A-segment cars on the market such as the Hyundai Grand i10, Kia Morning, or Toyota Wigo.

The vehicle is equipped with a 30 kW electric motor, a maximum torque of 110 Nm, and an 18.64 kWh LFP battery pack. As a result, the VF 3 has a slight edge over its competitor, the Wuling MiniEV (9.6-13.4 kWh), and offers a longer driving range (210 km compared to 120-170 km).
This electric SUV also features fast charging capabilities, allowing the battery to be charged from 10% to 70% within 36 minutes.
With a price range of 240-322 million VND, the VinFast VF 3 is considered an attractive option in the Vietnamese car market, potentially challenging the market share of budget A-segment cars where the Hyundai Grand i10 is performing better than the Kia Morning and Toyota Wigo.
Notably, the VF 3, along with VinFast’s entire range of pure electric vehicles, benefits from a policy of free charging at V-GREEN public charging stations for one year, significantly reducing the cost of owning an electric vehicle.
