HSBC Vietnam picks up awards as “Best Bank for Domestic Cash Management for Corporates in Vietnam 2019” and “Best Bank for Overall Service for Corporates in Vietnam 2019”.
HSBC Vietnam has been named “Best Bank for Domestic Cash Management for Corporates in Vietnam 2019” and “Best Bank for Overall Service for Corporates in Vietnam 2019” by the prestigious Euromoney magazine.
Taking advantage of HSBC’s global network and state-of-the-art technology, HSBC Vietnam has developed a number of digital solutions to support corporate customers in managing cash flow easily and efficiently. This contributed to another year of success for the bank, with profit-before-tax of VND3.096 trillion ($132.8 million) in 2018, an increase of 39 per cent compared to 2017.

HSBC Vietnam’s corporate clients have had the opportunity since last year to experience FaceID, a feature allowing biometrics recognition for logging on to the HSBCnet mobile app in less than a second. HSBC also introduced the 24*7 e-Customs platform last year, which helps clients make customs duties payment via the Customs Department’s e-Portal. And in April, HSBCnet Track Payments was officially introduced, for corporate clients to easily track payment status.
It made further improvements to the customer experience in launching SwiftGPI, which allows corporates to track every step of their overseas transactions at their fingertips. These are typical examples of the bank’s innovation in order to support customers in managing their cash flow effectively.
Ms. Nguyen Hanh, Country Head of Global Liquidity and Cash Management at HSBC Vietnam, said the awards recognize the efforts of HSBC’s frontline and support teams to provide customers with world-class services and solutions for their cash flow and liquidity management. “It marks our success in developing digital solutions for corporate customers and maintaining a strong relationship with our clients in this competitive market,” she added.
The Euromoney poll received online responses from more than 25,000 cash managers, treasury professionals, and financial officers around the world in this year’s 27th holding of the awards for excellence, which were the first of its kind in the global banking industry.
This is the 10th time in a row HSBC Vietnam has received the award for “Best Bank for Domestic Cash Management for Corporates in Vietnam”, thanks to another strong year of performance and continuous and consistent efforts in digitally transforming solutions for a better customer experience.
