
Routes Asia 2022 – the only event to connect, promote and develop the largest route network in the Asia-Pacific region – will open on June 6 in Da Nang and lasts until the end of June 8, 2022.
The event attracted about 450 delegates from more than 200 international aviation agencies and organizations from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America and guests from ministries and sectors, according to information from the Da Nang Department of Tourism.
There were many activities taking place not only in the three days above, but also from June 1 to June 8, such as a survey program for airlines, working sessions and connections between international businesses, domestic and local government; seminars, conference on tourism and aviation; Da Nang pavilion at the Asia air travel exhibition 2022, displaying beautiful Da Nang tourism photos, exhibiting typical Da Nang products and a flower boat parade.
The handover ceremony of the host city of Routes Asia 2023 to Chiang Mai, Thailand will also be held on the last day of the event.
In order to well organize the series of events, according to the leader of Da Nang Department of Tourism, this agency has presided over the connection with Informa Routes Company, IPP Travel Retail Company, and other departments and sectors for the preparations in terms of infrastructure, equipment and human resources besides maintaining and repairing the Exhibition Center to ensure the best service for the main programs and activities of the forum.
In addition, the Department of Tourism has prepared video clips introducing the destination of Da Nang, designed sightseeing programs, featured products as souvenirs for guests of the event; organized a flower boat parade on the Han River, selected and trained volunteers to serve the forum…
The Department of Tourism also coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports and the Department of Industry and Trade to organize a beautiful photo exhibition in Da Nang, display OCOP products and deploy street music spots during the event.
