BÌNH THUẬN Võ Lê Quế Anh from the central province of Quảng Nam has triumphed over 35 others to become Miss Grand Vietnam 2024.
Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 is 1.72m tall, with measurements of 78-62-89 cm. She graduated with a degree in Korean Language and Culture from Huế University.
The 23-year-old will represent Việt Nam to compete in the Miss Grand International 2024 pageant, which will be held in November in Thailand and Cambodia.
According to jury chairwoman, model Hà Kiều Anh, Anh had impressed the the judges from the first round of the contest. She has a bright appearance, a balanced physique and good language skills
Phạm Kim Dung, the President of the pageant, said that Anh had shown constant improvement, making efforts to enhance her skills and becoming more confident towards the end.
“We recognised that the new Miss Grand Vietnam has the qualities to win the crown and great potential for future development,” she added.
Earlier, in the preliminary round, Anh left a strong impression with her balanced physique, bright smile and singing and rapping performance in Korean. She was previously the Runner-up of the Miss University of Huế 2020 pageant, made it to the top 40 of Miss Vietnam 2020 and was the Runner-up in the Miss Tourism Đà Nẵng 2022 pageant.

The pageant was also awarded several special prizes. The Best National Costume award went to Nguyễn Ngọc Tứ for her beautiful mother-of-pearl embroidered costume. The Best Introduction Award was given to Nguyễn Vĩnh Hà Phương from HCM City, who impressed the judges with her self-introduction that combined calling out her name and singing in an operatic style. Huyền Trang was named Best in Fashion, while Trần Hồng Ngọc won the Best in Swimsuit award, as selected by the jury. The title of Best Peace Speech was awarded to Khuất Nguyễn Bảo Châu.
Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 began in June, including various preliminary rounds such as Grand Voice, Best in Fashion and National Costume, which took place in HCM City and the central province of Bình Thuận.
The jury panel included Miss Vietnam 2010 Hà Kiều Anh as the chairwoman, artist Vương Duy Biên as the vice chairman, as well as former beauty queens Nguyễn Thúc Thùy Tiên, Đoàn Thiên Ân, Minh Tú, fashion designer Đỗ Long, and actor Quốc Trường.
Another beauty pageant, Miss Vietnam Tourism 2024, has also found its new titleholder. In its final round,held at the Green Dragon City urban area in Cẩm Phả City in the northern province of Quảng Ninh on August 3, Phạm Thị Ngọc Quỳnh from the central province of Hải Dương was crowned.
She is currently a student majoring in English Language at the University of Foreign Trade in Hà Nội, and works as a content creator.

The two runners-up were Huỳnh Kim Anh, a student at the Saigon Tourism College from HCM City, and Lê Thị Ánh Tuyết, a student at Vinh University from the central province of Nghệ An Province.
The contest was launched in May 2024 and received over 300 application submissions. After two preliminary rounds, 60 outstanding contestants were selected to advance to the semi-final, held in Sa Pa town in the northern province of Lào Cai, where the organisers selected the top 40 contestants to proceed to the final round.

During the final, the contestants went through three competition segments – the áo dài (traditional Vietnamese long dress) runway, the bikini segment and the evening gown segment.
The 40 finalists are expected to become tourism ambassadors, helping to widely promote the beauty of Quảng Ninh Province to friends and visitors from all over the world. VNS
