The Travel Show will take viewers on an adventure of exploration and experience with real-life characters, creating memories together. Notably, the participants in the BBC program have diverse experiences and backgrounds, affirming the BBC’s criterion that travel is for everyone, thereby conveying a positive message and inspiring travel, exploration of people, and culture.
The proposed project by the BBC is named The Travel Show Special Vietnam, comprising two episodes, each 23 minutes long, scheduled to air in October 2024. The goal of The Travel Show Special Vietnam is to promote the beautiful and attractive destinations, friendly people, long-standing history, and rich cultural identity of Vietnam. Mr. John Williams believes this is a great opportunity for the BBC and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to collaborate in promoting and spreading the image of Vietnam tourism worldwide.
Director General Nguyen Trung Khanh highly appreciated the idea of BBC TV and affirmed his readiness to support the film crew in carrying out this special project, assigning focal points from the units under the Administration to coordinate during the implementation process.
Previously, Vietnam tourism has promoted destinations on various BBC channels multiple times.
