The hottest flight routes during holidays such as from Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi to Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, and Hue have significantly reduced their prices. Some routes have decreased by up to 50% compared to the previous week.
According to a survey by Zing, ticket prices for flights from Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc have significantly cooled down. Specifically, the Ho Chi Minh City-Phu Quoc route is currently priced from 1.9 million to 2.8 million Vietnamese dong per ticket per way on all airlines. The cheapest Hanoi-Phu Quoc route is 2.3 million Vietnamese dong per ticket per way by Vietjet Air. If flying with Bamboo Airways and Vietnam Airlines, customers have to pay between 2.5 million and 3.5 million Vietnamese dong per ticket per way for the same route. Meanwhile, ticket prices one week ago were up to 4-5.3 million Vietnamese dong per ticket.
The sharp price drop also appears on the most important domestic market route from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, which has decreased by 50% compared to booking one to two weeks ago. The cheapest ticket for this route is currently at 2.1 million Vietnamese dong per ticket per way by Vietjet Air, while tickets by Bamboo Airways and Vietnam Airlines are popular at 2.4-2.9 million Vietnamese dong.
Similarly, the Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi to Nha Trang route also has much better prices than the previous week. Specifically, the Ho Chi Minh City-Nha Trang route has decreased from 2.7-3.8 million Vietnamese dong per ticket to 1.5-2.7 million Vietnamese dong per ticket this week. Meanwhile, the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route has decreased from 5-6.6 million Vietnamese dong to 2.4-4.2 million Vietnamese dong.
