Sharing on VTC News, representatives of airlines said that when Vietnam has fully opened to tourism, April 30 – May 1 will be a long holiday to kick off the exciting summer. Therefore, the price of tickets to tourist destinations has increased compared to the time before and after the holiday, which is understandable.
For further explanation, a representative said that many months ago, airlines had to make up for losses because there were days of inactivity, there were days when there were only a few flights, while airlines still had to pay expenses as usual. Besides, the current increase in gasoline prices also directly affects the price structure of carriers in general and airlines in particular.
