Ten new COVID-19 cases reported in Vietnam on Tuesday morning.
Seven people are from the central city, aged between 30 and 68. One is a member of the medical staff at the hospital and five others are patients. The other case refers to a person already under observation who came into contact with a positive person.
Three others who tested positive are from Quảng Nam Province, aged between 35 and 67. One is a patient at the hospital and the other two had recently came into close contact with another positive case, who was also a patient at the hospital.
On Tuesday, The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said the total number of infections confirmed in Vietnam has reached 652, of which 307 were imported.
As many as 205 community transmitted cases have been detected and linked to Đà Nẵng City since July 25.
Currently, more than 133,000 people have been quarantined, including 1,258 people quarantined at hospital, 20,427 people at quarantine areas and 111,594 at home.
