Ranked 45th on the list is Tran Phu Street in Hoi An. Architectural Digest writes: “Hoi An, a very prosperous trading port bustling with activity from the 15th to the 19th century, is a popular tourist destination for many reasons, the most notable being the monthly lantern festival held on Tran Phu Street. The festival celebrates the full moon by lighting candles and placing them inside colorful paper lanterns. Residents of Tran Phu Street have been following this tradition for centuries.”
