Beef stew, Hue beef noodle soup, and grilled pork broken rice are three Vietnamese dishes that made it to the list of the ‘Top 100 Best Breakfasts in the World’ selected by the international culinary magazine Taste Atlas.
Taste Atlas compiled this list based on customer reviews as well as expert opinions, with over 26,000 ratings as of May 15.

Ranked 23rd, beef stew is considered a breakfast choice for many Vietnamese, typically served with noodles or bread and aromatic herbs. The dish is made from common local ingredients such as beef and diced carrots, simmered in a mildly spicy broth.
Hue beef noodle soup ranks 50th on the list. According to the description, an authentic Hue beef noodle soup includes a broth made from pork and beef bones, noodles, beef, and crab sausage.
Grilled pork broken rice ranks 70th and is a popular breakfast dish in southern provinces.
This dish usually features grilled pork marinated with lemongrass and fish sauce, served with broken rice. Additionally, grilled pork broken rice is often accompanied by scallion oil, pickled vegetables, and a side of fish sauce for dipping.
